Most people don’t take the time to apply any makeup on while they go out for work or errands. Some are just forced to put on some lipstick and blush during special occasions or a date. While most people say they don’t know how to apply makeup professionally.

Makeup can improve a person’s overall appearance by focusing on different facial assets like rosy skin, high cheekbones or beautiful eyes. It also helps reduce the appearance of pimples, cystic acne, dark and reddish spots, and unsightly undereye circles.

Makeup application needs techniques for it to look polished and not too made up. Thick makeup can be pulled off with proper blending and application techniques. For example, foundation should be the same shade as your skin tone, not lighter or darker. The neck should also be applied with a bit of foundation. What’s worse to look at is a light face with a dark neck. Concealer should be dabbed, not rubbed, into the skin and blended well. The trick to concealers is that the starting and ending point should not be recognized.

To make sure that you apply the correct shades of color for your skin tone, have yourself assessed. You can either be a “warm” or a “cool”. Different skin tone looks flattering in different shades and colors.
